An output device receives data from the computer for the purpose of displaying it to the user.

Monitor and Printer are the most commonly used output devices.

Some other examples include Speaker, Plotter, Projector, etc.

Input Devices

The term Input means anything that we give from our side.

E.g. In order to wash the clothes, dirty clothes are the input. 

Input devices acts as a medium to interact with the computer system i. e. provide an interface between user and the computer system.

The different input devices are:-

4. Webcam

5. Joystick

6. Trackball

7. Touchpad
